Our first In Person Event will be in the Plantation Gardens Norwich from 2pm to 3.30pm on 13th August .
Sign up on the day for an Open Mic [one poem please] and tell us about your poetry news – events / publications.
Please donate as you come in at the gate minimum £2 to support the upkeep of the gardens. You can pay cash or pay by text [details available on site].
Seating – you are welcome to bring deck chairs, camping chairs or blankets with you.
Bring a picnic if you like or non alcoholic drinks. There is a No Smoking and No Alcohol policy on site. We ask you to take your litter home.
Transport – There are Car Parks at each side of Plantation Gardens. You need a Smart Phone to pay. Alternatively it is a short walk from Car Parks in the City and buses stop nearby on Earlham Road.
IF IT RAINS too much we will make a decision to cancel by noon. We will let you know via the Newsletter and Social Media.

Bio:
Helen is a poet and writer based in Norwich.
In 2020 Helen was awarded an Arts Council England grant to develop her creative practice as a poet. Helen was BBC Radio Norfolk’s Friday Night Poet in Residence, June 2021. Helen was a 2022 Kendal Poetry Festival Bursary recipient where she made her poetry performance debut.
In 2019 Helen produced, wrote and performed a radio drama series, Talking Taboos. It was runner up for the Broadcast and Media Award (2021 Norfolk Arts Awards) and shortlisted for the 2022 National BBC Upload Festival.
