Helena Nelson runs HappenStance Press and is the founding editor of Sphinxreview.co.uk. She runs regular online workshops (‘Tricks of the Trade’ series) and writes both serious and light verse. Her first collection (Starlight on Water) was a Jerwood Prize winner in 2003 and her most recent books are Branded (Red Squirrel, 2019) and Pearls: The Complete Mr and Mrs Philpott Poems (HappenStance 2022).
Jenny Robb has been writing poetry since retiring from a social work and management career, mainly in mental health services. Since 2020 she’s been published widely in online and print magazines and in anthologies. Her debut collection, The Doll’s Hospital, Yaffle Press 2022, has recently been published. She lives in Liverpool with her partner and the family cat and has one grown-up daughter.
